The Good News
“When you focus on the bad, the bad becomes worse.” — Unknown
I’m certain a majority, if not all, have heard some terrible news while roaming through the media lately. The media has an insidious way of being the gasoline to wildfires.
Before you allow yourself to fall into a self-destructive rabbit hole of bad news, firstly ask yourself, “is there anything I can do currently that could help?”
If the answer is yes, do whatever it is that you can to help this prominent issue, but if the answer is no, then you must fight the urge to dwell in the inadequate.
Channel and narrow your focus to your own personal world (what is immediate to you) and ask yourself what you can do to make your personal world enlightened.
When in doubt, focus on the good to accentuate its positive impact.
